About Me
A computer engineer on paper, but a chef by passion, my journey with food began in the heart of my childhood home in India. I grew up watching my mother and grandmothers transform simple ingredients into magical meals—freshly cooked every day, guided by the seasons, and steeped in tradition. From festive feasts to everyday comfort foods, these flavors became part of my soul.
Driven by this deep-rooted love for food, I came to Canada to study professional culinary arts. The techniques were different, the ingredients unfamiliar, but one thing remained the same—the essence of cooking itself. Whether in my mother’s kitchen or a fine-dining restaurant, it is the love, care, and passion that make a meal truly special.
Since graduating in 2015, I’ve worked in restaurants, hotels, catering, and cafeterias, but I found my true calling in teaching. For nearly five years, I was an instructor at PC Cooking School, sharing my knowledge and love for food until the program closed. Now, I lead occasional cooking classes at Covent Garden Market, and spend the rest of my time as a stay-at-home mom, chasing my two little ones (and a husband lol) and sharing my love for food with them.
Cooking for my family, trying new recipes, and experimenting with flavors—sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing—fuels my passion every day. Because for me, food is more than just sustenance; it’s love, culture, and connection. It’s my love language.
I’d love to share this passion with you—whether through a cooking class, a meal prep session, or simply inspiring you to step into your own kitchen with confidence. Let’s cook something amazing together!
